The plot of Maurice “Moss” Platnauer had fallen into disrepair. The concrete was cracked and the monument was leaning. On February 22, 2026 Tony Leiman and Rick Kool were able to clear the concrete and fill the grave. The Sylvester Family Plot

Frank Sylvester, his wife Cecelia and their son Clarence “Toots” are buried in a family plot. The death of their very young granddaughter, Louise “Muriel” Campbell in Winnipeg was a tragedy for the family. Muriel’s name was on the ‘unknown plot location’ list, however, records indicate that she was buried in the Sylvester family plot.Continue reading “The Sylvester Family Plot”

Fixing the Leaning Monuments

On January 30, 2025, Carl Hughes and his team from Meadowlark Memorials straightened the monuments of Philip Lewis, Benjamin Pruss, David Brown and for the Oppenheimer family plot.
