Landscaping the Lewis Family Plot

The Lewis family plot has been monitored by the Cemetery Committee. The first project on this plot was to straighten the monument for Philip Lewis. That project took place on January 30, 2025 by Carl Hughes and his team from Meadowlark Memorials. Click here to read more.

Philip’s brother Aaron (sometimes spelled Aron) was on the list of ‘unknown burial locations.’ His name inconsistently appeared in available burial rolls. After consultation with his descendants Cynthia Flash Hemphill and Edward Flash, the decision was made to place a marker for Aaron Lewis on the Lewis family plot.
