Rebecca Harris

Birth: 1866 in Victoria, B.C.

Death: March 11, 1867 in Victoria, B.C.

Biography:
Rebecca Harris was 6 months old when she died in 1880, and is buried next to the memorials for Adele and Grace Meiss. Her grave marker is unusual when compared to her neighbor’s, as it is a full sized adult memorial instead of a smaller, child-sized headstone. The memorial has been weathered to the point of almost being completely illegible, with her name, age, and date of death barely readable. To ensure her grave is not wiped clean, a bronze plaque bearing only her name has been placed at its base.
