Biography:
Philip immigrated from Vilnius, Lithuania, Russian Empire to Glasgow in about 1899 with his parents and siblings. At that time, Philip was apprenticing as a picture framer. On December 17, 1912, Philip and Eva Blumenthal married in the South Portland Street Synagogue in Glasgow, Scotland. By 1912 Philip had become a master clothier. Philip became a British Citizen on December 7, 1922. His occupation at that time was Tailor & Outfitter. On August 16, 1939 Philip, Eva and their children emigrated to New York City.

According to the voters list between 1958 and 1962 Philip, his wife and two sons were living at 3275 Upper Terrace Road.
