Death: January 13, 1909 (age 76) in Victoria, B.C.

Taken suddenly ill on the streets it developed into a sickness which proved fatal. The late Mr. Davis, who resided at 927 Johnson street, was born in London, Eng., and came to this city about twenty years ago. He was a familiar figure around the Variety Bazaar in Johnson street, and is survived by three sons and one daughter, residing in New York.
The deceased was a member of the Masonic order. The funeral will take place from the residence tomorrow afternoon. Dr. Hartmann will officiate. Interment will take place at the Jewish cemetery.
