His birth date on the grave marker is given as 25 March 1938, but in his obituary published in the Victoria Times Colonist on 24 May 2013 gave his birth-date is given as 25 March 1943. Further on the grave-marker, his name is given as “Sherman B. Rapaport” while the same obituary gives it as “Bernaird Sherman Rapaport”.

The family notes that the tombstone information is correct and the obituary information regarding his birth date and name order is wrong (RK, 10 Sep 2021)

He received a Bachelor Of Science degree in Chemical Engineering in Saskatoon

RAPAPORT, Bernaird Sherman March 25, 1943 – May 22, 2013 Sherman passed away quietly, after a week in hospice, taking in well wishes and love from his friends and family. Sherman had been fighting multiple melanoma for the past year and a half. While his passing was sudden and unexpected, he managed to face death in the same way he faced life, with a spirit of optimism and a smile for all who would share in it. Sherman will always be loved and missed by his wife and companion in all things Fran, and his two children Steven and Lesley.
