Biography:
British Columbia Death Registration No. 99-010547 gives the place of death as Gorge Road Hospital in Victoria British Columbia; in fact Gorge Road Hospital is not located in Victoria, but in Esquimalt, one of the 13 constituent municipalities of the Capital Regional District, formerly known as “Greater Victoria”.
That same death registration states she was never married and gives her father’s surname as “David”; it is speculated that he Anglicized it from the Czech “Davidowitz”.
